2-in-1 Harness Buddy

If the quality and variety of gifts we have already received for ‘baby super’ are an indication of the liveliness he/she will have, we are in for a wild and crazy ride. Gifts so far have been:

  • climbing pants for newborn to three month olds (watch out Chris Sharma and D.O.) - thanks Jeremy&Annie
  • Diaper Champ - can you say olfactory? - Elijah, thanks for forgetting to give this to your cousin and then giving it to us.
  • 2-in-1 Harness Buddy - Thanks Aunt Flo!

Harness-Buddy
Monkey on My Back!

These are real quotes from the 2-in-1 Harness Buddy:

Animal fun for kids on the run

Makes harnessing more friendly

Remove tether strap and it’s a backpack

Real (at least probable) quotes from our child years down the road:

I can’t get this monkey off my back!

All the booty so far

Elijah would steal that toy from his cousin and give it to baby super… oh, and by the time baby super is old enough to climb, I’ll probably be retired and into the coaching business. He/She can be my climbing prodigy.

  2. -Elijah Says:

the thing about babies is that they poop in their pants and can’t do anything cool like climb yet.

and what’s with all that really loud breathing when they’re hungry or you drop them?

otherwise, they’re a pretty tight race of beings

i had a turtle backpack in college but the other college kids made fun of me, so i’d advise against strapping the monkey on it. the little “baby” might be permanently traumatized

(or at least make sure you’ve saved up to replace it with a jansport by high school)

Way to go aunt Flo! We can always depend on you for the useful kinds of gifts…..may there be many fun 2-in-1 harness times in super-baby’s future!

  4. Jonathan Says:

Ok, I can show you how ‘2-in-1′ is come from Greek word:

Babies sit and poop, monkies throw their poop — 2 poops in 1, 2-in-1…
    So, there you go!

  5. Annie Says:

  6. Rachel Says:

I would really like to buy one too! I Can’t find any info on the internet. Do you know the name of the company that makes them, or where to get them? I’m in Canada and can’t find them here, and walmart USA won’t ship to Canada. Does anyone know of another place to buy them?

  10. Thomas Says:

    Natalie and Teresa,
The company is Gold Bug and their website is http://www.goldbug1.com. The site doesn’t seem to be a store where you can purchase these, but you can contact what appear to be Sales Reps. The back of the box has this on it:
    4999 Oakland Street
    Denver, CO 80239
    303-371-2535

  11. Ingrid Says:

I had called Gold Bug and the representative said that the item is new and should be en mass in Target and Walmart stores in a week or two.

  12. suzie Says:
