KAMU & KJRS
We are not television people. We are radio people.

We listen to our local stations, KAMU and KJRS. KAMU is the local public radio station which carries primarily NPR programs and some excellent local programs (and one not so excellent one). We are supporters of KAMU since it is our primary means of entertainment, besides what we hear on KJRS. What is KJRS you ask? The photo below depicts the special device we need to listen to the KJRS programs.

Public Radio Rocks! How can you out match “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!”, Fresh Air with Terry Gross, and The Motley Fool Radio Show? You Cannot!
Although we don’t get KJRS down here, Aurelie and I listen to KHEM every night.
Scott,
You guys get The Motley Fool? KAMU doesn’t carry that one, but we get an awesome gardening/yardening call in show on Thursdays and Saturday nights we get a local bluegrass show. Our favorite, however, is Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion. Yes, we are nerds and proud of it. We even have tickets to the show when it comes to Austin in June. We are super pumped.
I had forgotten about the local shows…I loved Brazos Valley Gold, along with the gardening show. I don’t remember the bluegrass hour when Scott and I were there, which is too bad b/c I’m sure we would have loved it! I guess we are big nerds as well.
Thanks for giving me a reason to reminisce about living in College Station!
