Supercinskiad 2006–We have a winner!
It’s that time of year again… Supercinskiad is here! You can read about the inaugural games here. To celebrate the midpoint of every year of marriage, we engage in a friendly weekend-long plus competition of games. Someday, we hope to incorporate games Josiah and company can play also. This year, we added Mancala and Farkeling (also known as “rock, paper, scissors”) and the competition has been fierce. For one, Rachel has really had her A-game compared to the previous year’s games where she was battling almost constant nausea and fatigue. She is fighting tooth and nail to defend her title of Supercinskiad champion.

Which leaves Thomas with 3 gold medals and Rachel with 4, making Rachel the reigning Supercinskiad Champion for another year running!

I think that is an amazing idea. I guess that game we played at HOPE group would take far too long to incorporate into the games, but it was pretty fierce competition. My money is still on Josiah.

I guess you aren’t the only one to forget people’s married names (remember Vanessa’s shower invitations?) Correction, we mean that Vanessa (Voelker) Houk is the June contest winner. She was all over those pet peeves!
