All Things Supercinski

It’s that time of year again… Supercinskiad is here! You can read about the inaugural games here. To celebrate the midpoint of every year of marriage, we engage in a friendly weekend-long plus competition of games. Someday, we hope to incorporate games Josiah and company can play also. This year, we added Mancala and Farkeling (also known as “rock, paper, scissors”) and the competition has been fierce. For one, Rachel has really had her A-game compared to the previous year’s games where she was battling almost constant nausea and fatigue. She is fighting tooth and nail to defend her title of Supercinskiad champion.

We finally broke down and trimmed the boy’s hair around his ears and along the back. I am pleased to announce that the mullet is gone! He looks much cleaner and less like a ragamuffin all of the time. It was quite the experience trying to trim an almost 5-month old’s hair while he keeps trying to look at Daddy and the scissors, but we made it through and he looks great.
