Seven Months Update
You guessed it, another month has passed and our boy is growing by leaps and bounds. Josiah is getting bigger and more active. He has officially outgrown the 3-6 month size onesie and his cankles overflow the 0-9 month sock. He is always exploring and has such a sense of wonder. It’s so sweet to watch him take in a new place–like the airport, someone’s house or a store. He’s becoming more and more social and smiles and laughs when he has attention (or to get it if we are distracted). He is doing well with solid foods–he loves fruits and sweet potatoes. His favorite is the sweet potato-peach combo. Not a big fan of cereal or anything green.
No crawling yet, but he started getting up high on his hands and rocking a bit–no tummy on the ground. No teeth yet, but those can wait. His favorite part of day is bathtime and he would kick and scoot across the tub all night if we let him, even after the water has gotten cold. Josiah has developed a few new tricks this month–he’s become an excellent tongue clicker (it is so cute because it is so deliberate) and a great spit bubbler. He loves standing up while we hold his hands or arms, and his favorite “toys” are cups, water bottles and Nalgenes. Below is a picture of him with a cup from Taco Bell. As you can see, he really liked it.

He is seriously such a joy to be around and is so joyful. He brightens my day everytime I go and get him after he’s gotten up from a nap. Here’s a glimpse at his happiness upon waking and seeing me or Thomas.
He is so, so, so cute… what a little blessing! Does he get this, “His favorite part of day is bathtime and he would kick and scoot across the tub all night if we let him, even after the water has gotten cold” from Thomas?
MY GOODNESS!!! He’s the second cutest thing I’ve seen all day ;0). (of course, Jude is cuter…I’m his Mom!!)
