Rays of Sunshine
When I was a kid, I thought I had magic powers because I could see the sun’s rays from behind a cloud. I distinctly remember thinking this one day at Wet ‘n Wild as I was sitting in the shallow end of the wave pool. It was a sad day when I realized that other people could see them too.
I used to think that I was a king in hiding, like Arthur in the disney classic Sword in the Stone, with the shikina (sp?) glory of God, predestining me to my future role of ruling the world. I was a bit of an egoist.
