One Man’s Trash
Thomas and I make no secret about our love of dumpster diving. I recently scored an awesome new toy to add to the living room clutter that our neighbors had haphazardly discarded on the curb. It’s a leaning play house! After a little hosing, scrubbing, and drying, it looks good and Josiah thinks it is great fun.
This same family discarded a broken dump truck a few months ago. I got that one to use as an outside toy, since it is a little more worn. What fun!
Next time I see the woman of the house, I might offer to take any unwanted toys off their hands, saving them the trip to the curb, but there isn’t nearly as much fun in that.
