Around Town

Since we’ve all been plagued with coughs and colds this week, we decided to stay close to home last weekend and headed to the Children’s Museum Fall Festival for some fun. Josiah was a little young for most of the activities, but he didn’t know it, and he had a great time (until he lost it at the end). His highlight was seeing a real-life fire engine! If you’ve spent much time at our house, you’ve probably had the privilege of reading him one of his fire engine books. Funny side note: when he wore his coat for the first time today, he told me it was like Holly’s daddy’s–the fire fighter in one of his books, of course.

And painting the VW Bus. He really enjoyed this, and amazingly didn’t get any paint on his clothes.

No fair! I want to paint on a VW bus! Of course I also want to own one…

hmmmm…. maybe we’ll hire Josiah next time we paint our abode. The VW bus looks awfully like our apartment….lavendar, yellow, and muted red. Jeremy said when we first painted the walls he felt like he was living in an Easter egg. :)
