Surprise!

We woke up one morning last week to see this lovely site at the end of our driveway. All day long, I expected someone to come by, confess, and offer to pay to have it fixed. They never came. Now it lays there, with the mailman still putting the mail in it just the same, and we are looking for someone to fix it. Anyone know a good mason?

All Dressed Up

Thomas’ company had a Christmas party last weekend, which gave us our first excuse to dress up in a long time. The party was fun–great location, yummy food, and karaoke. Those computer guys know how to throw a party!

I am going to find a reason to wear this dress again in the spring. (Thanks again for telling me about it Julia, it was a steal!) When I tried it on the first time, Josiah was with me and exclaimed, “Momma big girl! Momma big girl!” over and over again. He is so funny!

Done!

I would have taken a picture of this moment, but I was in my pajamas when I finished everything.

I finally completed and mailed in my academic requirements for Bradley Method childbirth educator certification. Whew! I’ve been working on it since mid-August, taking a short hiatus for puking and fatigue, but hitting it hard again after my training conference (which was wonderful by the way). If you hadn’t heard, I spent four days in Dallas in November learning how to teach Bradley. Thomas was a hero and took care of Josiah, who, surprisingly, did not even seem to notice my absence.

If all is well with my academic package, I can start teaching provisionally, hopefully in January! Now I just need to find some students.
