I'm not sure if that's God's way of preparing the big brother-to-be or just a reminder that He made the little guy or gal inside of you to be special! My doctor told me the second child is usually half a pound bigger than the first. It didn't happen that way for us, but I think that's only because I sat and ate lots of M&Ms when pregnant the first time. If I had done that the second time, I would have had to share M&Ms with a 1 year-old. I try to take as few pictures of myself pregnant as I can, so I can't prove anything...but for a second pregnancy I don't think you're that big. It's just well, as has been said earlier, your body knows what it's doing this time around. If peace of mind is worth it for you, go for the ultrasound. Also, you have one of those maternity belts right? They're great for back pain. In case you don't have one, I got mine at Motherhood Maternity. Don't know if they've put one of those in CS yet or not, but there's one here, or I'm sure you could order it online. And to comfort you more, I outgrew a lot of clothes...in my FIRST pregnancy! I still think that! You are glowing and radiant. My belly was tons bigger with Laney Rae than it was with KK. And they ended up being about the same size. I think when our bodies recognize what is happening for the second time, it doesn't even fight it at that point. It just relaxes and enjoys the ride! Ha! I totally sympathize with the sickness. I threw up every morning with KK for almost 8 months (she can 6 weeks early so that means the entire time for me). It is a bummer especially when you have a little one there right beside you.
