Great-Grandparents Visit
We were fortunate to have a wonderful visit from my grandparents last weekend. They had some free airplane tickets they had to use before the end of May, so we got to spend some time with them. The last time they came to visit, they drove all the way from Arizona and did a tour around Texas seeing my mom and all of her kids, special thanks to their GPS system in their car. Aren’t they the coolest?

Josiah loved all the attention he was showered with, and he was a very good boy for them, my mom, and Woody when Thomas and I went to Houston for a friend’s wedding (and reunion with college friends.) This was the first time that anyone but Thomas or me put him to bed, and he didn’t even ask about us! I’m so thankful for this in preparation for the upcoming birth since my mom will be Super Nana during that time. All four generations of us:

My grandmother has high hopes for this baby holding out on his/her arrival until June. Of all five of her children, their spouses, her grandchildren, their spouses, and her great-grandchildren, none of them shares a June birthday with her. I hope this little one takes her/his time and doesn’t come early.

It’s amazingly cool to have 4 generations together.
It was great seeing you two at the wedding. I promise next time I’m in C.S. (and am not working the entire time) to give you guys a buzz to hang out.

You might be the only pregnant woman I know who actually wants the baby to wait!
I was sick with the flu two weeks before my due date for baby #2, and I prayed that she would hold off. She did alright… for four more weeks!!!
