It’s amazing how little “free” time you have with a newborn who needs to be held most of the time! Here are some pictures from the past week, enjoy!
Annalise is a very alert baby when she is awake. She is awake for 45 minutes to an hour at a time, then must be bounced/rocked/swayed to sleep or she screams. Her favorite things are swaddling, nursing, being held and bouncing.
Josiah loves his sister. It’s precious to see how excited he is when she flails around and touches him or holds his hand. He is a great helper by getting pacifiers and burp cloths.

Josiah is keeping himself busy during nursing and bouncing sessions. Glue is his favorite this week, thanks to Grandma Mary’s gift of buttons and shiny stars.

I just love that PRECIOUS girl! She’s got to be just such a treasure! I’m so thrilled that Josiah is adapting well! I’m sorry she’s fussy… Jude was super high maintenance in that department, so I’m hoping I’ve earned the right to an EASY second baby! …er…maybe that’s not how that works! Ha!
My mom is here now and brought all of your WONDERFUL treats!! Thank you so much for being so generous to bless us like that. I’m SO thankful for every little gift! I’ll be revealing them to Jude one by one so he doesn’t get too spoiled! You were so intentional and thoughtful, I know he’ll LOVE every item! And the stuff for Brennan is so practical! I can’t wait to use it!
I just love seeing you as a mom of two…they make you look even MORE beautiful! Your hard work to raise Josiah so well is such a good example for me. Thanks for teaching me about intentionality in parenting!

She’s growing so much, way to go baby girl!
I can’t wait to see her again when she’s ready for her public debut! Every time I sit on the computer, someone needs help with a bathroom trip or starts crying, so I don’t really bother!!! haha! It’s not important at all, but I still miss it a little! You’re doing a great job over there Mama! Praying for good sleeping, eating and happy days for all of you!!!
