December Contest

December 7th, 2008 by Thomas

It has been quite some time since we have had a contest here at All Things Supercinski. This one will be easy. All you have to do is comment on this post and include your favorite Christmas-time family tradition from your childhood. So, if you’ve been lurking around here and/or interacting regularly, let us know your favorite tradition and you will be entered in a drawing to win a brand new copy of The Omnivore’s Dilemma. It’s a great read for yourself or someone you love. Be sure to comment before 8am on this Thursday, December 11th.

Baby Name Contest

May 17th, 2008 by Thomas

The due date for Baby Super #2 is fast approaching and many have inquired of the sex of the child as well as the proposed names. After much deliberation we have finally settled on names.

First, the prizes:

  • As the winner, you will receive the first non-family phone call announcing the birth of Baby Super.
  • To show off your win to friends and family, we’ll send you two special prizes in the mail, both lovingly handcrafted here at “All Things Supercinski”. You’ll be able to use and wear these with pride.
  • Your name announced as a winner right here on “All Things Supercinski”.

Winning is easy – just submit via email, the comments, the contact form, or the contest entry form the correct sex and name of Baby Super #2.

Here’s your hint – the two sets of initials are CAS and ACS.

You’ll have to determine which set is for which sex, but only include one guess in your entry, you must commit to either a girl or a boy. The S, of course, stands for Supercinski.

In the event of multiple correct submissions, the entry submitted first will be deemed the winner, other correct entries will receive honorable mention prizes, to be determined later. In the absence of a winner, one entry will be chosen at random to receive one of the handcrafted prizes above and mention on “All Things Supercinski”. One entry per person (multiple per household are accepted), first submission is only valid entry. Submissions received after the birth of Baby Super #2 are null and void and have no cash value. Contest may not be valid in all 50 states, void where prohibited. International viewers are eligible. Employees of “All Things Supercinski” and its subsidaries are prohibited. Baby Super #2’s due date is June 8th, but he or she may come before then, so hurry while supplies last!

So, to restate, you must correctly guess:

  • the sex of Baby Super #2
  • which set of initials Baby Super #2 will have
  • what those initials will stand for

Valid submissions will look like this:

boy – Archibald Clarence Supercinski

City, State, ZIP

And remember, you are all winners (except those who lose).

Contest Winner

April 26th, 2006 by Thomas

After a long wait for snail mail to take it’s course and photos to be taken, the latest Contest Winner is Mr. Greg ‘Gangsta’ Rhodes, of the greater Orlando area. The latest contest featured a well expired DQ coupon on a ‘Malt Shoppe Barbie’. Greg’s guess of G.I. Joe was the closest and he was declared winner on the basis that both were action figures/dolls (serving malts is action, just like killing wounding Dreadnots and/or CobraCon dudes is action too). The toy epoch was the same as well. Below you see Greg enjoying the cool and useful prizes he received – two ‘FingerLights’ and a sweet Robert Plant cassette. The FingerLights come in handy on camping trips when the headlamp fails or late at night for that nightowl reading under the covers. Congratulations Greg! Stay tuned everyone for another contest coming soon…

Greg is the champion, my friends.

Expiration and a Contest

March 19th, 2006 by Thomas

Don’t you just hate it when you let a coupon you wanted to use expire? We could just kick ourselves – we let a great coupon expire. This one below was in our home on product’s box (hint, it wasn’t food related) – if you can guess what product it was on, you win the contest and a great prize. Get your entries in via the comments by April 1st.

Mug Shot of Contest Winner

February 19th, 2006 by Thomas

We at All Things Supercinski are excited to announce the winning contestant in the Guess Baby Super’s Name contest. The winning prize was a handsome mug with All Things Supercinski Contest Winner emblazoned upon it. Congratulations to Mr. Jerod Hugghins of Houston, Texas. His guess of Josiah Ray was the closest and quickest of the entries – honorable mention goes to Jonathan Deatherage of Dallas, Texas.

If anyone you know has need of a graphic artist, Jerod is armed with Photoshop and some mad skilz, so let him know. Thanks to everyone for playing – and remember, you are all losers except Jerod and Jonathan. Stay tuned for more exciting contests coming in the near future. And no, the chosen girl’s name shall not be revealed.

Congratulations Jerod!!

Contest Update

January 22nd, 2006 by Thomas

Many of you have expressed sadness because you did not get your contest entry in before it’s end. Never fear, the contest has been extended until midnight, Tuesday, January 31st. You can get the official rules, details, and prize listing on the original post. Remember, Baby Super’s due date is February 3rd, but only God knows when he/she will come. Your entry is null and void after Baby Super’s arrival, so hurry while supplies last. Plus, in the case of a tie the first entry wins. We’ve seen many entries already, spanning the globe and back – many have been “original” and many have been close. Enjoy! And remember, you are all winners, except those of you who lose.
